Maisy is a 5 year old indoor cat that is in need of a loving single cat home or an FIV+ home. Maisy was in need of a new home when her previous owners as they had a newborn and no longer had time for her. I volunteered to take her into my home with my 2 other cats. She had not been to a vet since the previous owners adopted her in 2021, so we took her to the vet to get caught up with her vaccines and get checked out. The vet discovered she is FIV+ and, thus, cannot live in my home with my FIV- cats. Maisy is otherwise happy and healthy. She is such a sweet cat, very loving and cuddly. She warmed up to us and her room in less than a day. She is very talkative and playful (likes feathers, wand toys, hiding toys behind things, etc.). She has some boundaries regarding petting certain areas and petting her without notice. It seems like her previous owners had not respected those boundaries as she has developed the defensive mechanism of swatting your hand away.
