Hey there! I am a sweet short-haired orange tabby male named Xavier Jones. My estimated birthdate is 5/01/23. I am outgoing and friendly and love to be pet. All it takes is a few neck rubs and I am already making air biscuits and purring, and rolling over playfully to enjoy your touch. I love to be brushed and I'll rub against you over and over to show my affection. I'm a chatty guy too. My friends and I lived together as a socialized indoor colony but my owners couldn't continue to care for the large number of cats. I grew up around loud noises and some dogs, and I tend to be a bit jumpy yet and cautious at first. I like the high spaces where I can assess my surroundings and then make my move. After a bit, I am comfortable around other cats and can call myself fairly confident, however in a new home, I should be gradually introduced to other pets, and follow the instructions provided by Wild Blue Cats at adoption. This helps ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable as we get to know each other. I'm looking for a calm home where I can relax and be by your side, offering companionship and the occasional lap cuddle.
